Lot's of Risk. Failure Likely...Ok. Let's Go.
Unconventional Warfare is conducted by a special breed of warrior that are willing to take huge risks in an environment that is highly unpredictable. They will try new things to accomplish the mission. What they are doing is usually a first (or rare). Their likelihood of failure is high. They draw strength that what they are doing is important. They are passionate about it and will sacrifice to get there. There is no book to reference and the degree of autonomy (or loneliness) is high. They do their very best and try to be better today than they were yesterday. This sounds like someone who can build, or start, an organization.
Take risks in a highly unpredictable environment with people you love for a cause you believe will make the world a better place. Does your organization operate like that? Do you believe in what you do? Do you love what you do? Do you love the people you do it with?
If you say no to any of those questions you should take some time to consider your future. When you come up with a range of excuses as to why you will never be able to say yes to all of them I will throw up the bulls%t flag. Stop making excuses Sarge. Start making change.
